LIGHTING
TRADE ORDERS
In the spirit of minimalism and transparency we do not offer trade discounts or wholesale accounts. We offer our best direct-to-consumer price to everyone, regardless of your order size. All of our pricing can be found on our site. The easiest way to get a quote is to enter all of your items into the cart on our website. It will calculate shipping for you and is easy to print. When you are ready you can finalize your order there as well. We are happy to help if you have questions about your order and look forward to working with you.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
We take pride in our quality craftsmanship and beautiful artisan finishes. Our fixture parts are US made from heavy gauge solid brass and our glass shades are hand-blown on the east coast. Minor imperfections in fixture finishes and in our glass are inherent in our craft production giving each light vitality and authenticity. Our graphite patina and brass fixtures have a luxe wax coating that gives each part a beautiful semi-matte sheen and depth of character. Our waxed finishes will develop a rich patina over time. In order to protect the finish from excess marking during insallation, we recommend that your electrician wear the gloves we provide during installation and avoid harsh chemical cleaners to maintain these beautiful finishes.
SELECTING PENDANT LENGTHS AND CHANDELIER DIMENSIONS
Many customers find it helpful to hang balloons from a string to determine the best length for their fixtures. It is important to order the correct length, as our fixtures cannot be altered without ruining the finish. Please note that all pendants and chandeliers are final sale for this very reason.
SPECIAL OPTIONS
Please let us know if you need your lights made with custom features or special options such as extended lengths, switches or a cord and plug instead of being hardwired. We will let you know the possibilities and if there will be an additional cost. Our fixtures use standard medium-based, screw-in sockets. These are compatible with most incandescent, CFL and LED bulbs. If you need E27 sockets to work with European wiring please make a note in the online shopping cart when you place your order.
UL RATINGS
All hard wired fixtures are UL rated for dry and damp locations in the USA and Canada. Fixtures built with twisted cloth cord or wooden components cannot be UL listed. Please contact us with questions about specific fixtures. If you require a damp rating sticker on your fixtures, please make a note in your shopping cart when you place your order.
LEAD TIME
Every light is made-to-order. Most orders ship in 2-3 weeks, plus 2-8 days for shipping. We are a small company so lead times can vary depending upon the time of year, size of the order and availability of parts. If anything extends the lead time of your order beyond four weeks we will notify you. If you are in a rush to receive your lights or have a deadline please let us know prior to placing your order so we can confirm our ability to ship in time.
SHIPPING
We ship most domestic orders via FedEx Ground. Higher value orders are shipped with a signature required at delivery. For Alaska and Hawaii orders please inquire for rates. Large orders may be shipped by freight truck and require a shipping quote. International orders may be placed online - no shipping quote is needed.
If an order is returned due to an incorrect shipping address provided by a customer, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost as well as the redelivery cost. Cedar & Moss will not be held liable for orders delivered incorrectly or lost due to incorrect shipping information provided by a customer.
The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to customs brokerage fees, import duties, and taxes once the shipment reaches the destination country. These additional charges are not included in the total of your order with Cedar & Moss and they are the responsibility of the recipient. All international shipments will be sent courier via FedEx International. Incoterms are CPT (Carriage Paid To). Since customs policies vary from country to country, please contact your local customs office for more information.
Cedar & Moss will ship third party with a 3% handling fee. The customer is responsible to provide prepaid shipping labels or a bill of lading prior to shipment. We are not able to ship using a private account number. Cedar & Moss will not be responsible for damages or losses that occur to goods after they have been picked up by a third party carrier.
RETURNS
We take pride in our craftsmanship and your satisfaction means everything to us. If your purchase does not meet your expectations please let us know within 45 days of the ship date so we can issue a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. We can not accept returns on pendants, chandeliers, finish samples, custom items, or on fixtures that have been installed or are not in their original condition. Large quantity orders of ten or more items, which would include orders placed sequentially, are non-returnable. Fixtures that have been built with switches, cords, E27, or GU24 sockets are not eligible for return. We reserve the right to deny any returns that do not meet this criteria. Denied returns will be shipped back to you.
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping and carefully packaging the fragile lights for transit. Because of their high value, shipping your items fully insured with FedEx or UPS is recommended. Please check with your chosen carrier's packing policies if you have concerns about shipping fragile items.
DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
Please inspect your items upon arrival. Cedar & Moss must be notified of any discrepancies or issues regarding the condition, finish, or quantities of the items in your order within 5 days from the date of delivery. If you do not report damaged items within 5 days from delivery, these items will not be eligible for any replacements or refunds. Please keep the shipping boxes and original packaging with the damaged items so that we can file a claim with the carrier.
WARRANTY
Cedar & Moss warranties electrical fixture parts for two years. We will not be held liable for any damage to lights caused from mishandling, damage during installation or as the result of improper bulb use. Warranted repairs, if required, shall be done at the Cedar & Moss studio in Oregon and we will not be held responsible or liable for labor costs incurred in the installation, removal or field repair of any fixtures.

HARDWARE RETURN POLICY
If you need to return a product, our Customer Service team is happy to help. Please email us at customerservice@cedarandmoss.com to obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. Returns without valid authorization will be refused and no credit will be issued.
Hardware returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping fees are non-refundable and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend shipping your items fully insured with FedEx or UPS. Please ensure returned items are packaged properly, as we are unable to accept returns on damaged goods.
You have 45 days from when your order ships to begin the returns process. Hardware must be in the original manufacturer packaging, in new condition, and include the mounting screws provided. Failure to include the mounting screws may result in a deduction from the total amount refunded.
Items that have been installed, used, worn, or modified in any way cannot be returned. Returns that are postmarked beyond 45 days will be denied, and the item(s) will be shipped back to you.
