Our Blanchet Table Lamp is a bold, unexpected beauty. A lovely linen shade floats above an elegant turned wood neck anchored to a cast concrete base. The unexpected mix of materials, quality, and balanced proportions make this lamp a stunning addition to any interior.

Variations and imperfections in the concrete base are inherent in its artisan production. 

Namesake: Muriel Wylie "Capi" Blanchet (1891-1961) was a Canadian author best known for her seminal Northwest boating memoir The Curve of Time. In 1926, when Blanchet was widowed at the age of thirty-five, she packed her five young children into a twenty-five-foot boat and they cruised the ragged, wild, perforated coastline of British Columbia for fifteen consecutive summers.
