The Tumwater Collection celebrates the earthy textures and expressive glazes of mid-century studio pottery, blending the warmth of vintage California pottery with the clean sensibility of Northwest Modern design. Each piece is handcrafted locally from opaque stoneware, then finished with a white gloss glaze that is carefully wiped back to reveal a rich, two-tone design with depth, character, and an unmistakably artisanal quality. Subtle variations and imperfections are inherent to the process, ensuring no two fixtures are exactly alike. Every piece is made to order in our Oregon studio featuring locally made stoneware shades, turned American hardwoods, and solid brass parts. 

Namesake: Inspired by Willamette Falls—a place of striking natural beauty and cultural significance in the Pacific Northwest—the collection reflects the gentle movement and lines of cascading water.

All orders are shipped via UPS. Packages are insured and trackable. An email containing the tracking number will be sent to you when the order ships. Once your order has shipped, deliveries in the continental US by UPS Ground will take 2-5 days from our Oregon Studio.
