A favorite of architects, plywood is valued for its warmth, simplicity, and sustainability. Once considered an industrial material used in boats and aircraft, designers in the 1920s began bending plywood into sculptural forms. Finnish architect Alvar Aalto led this movement, pioneering bent-wood plywood furniture with soft lines and a fresh modernism aesthetic, an approach that has influenced designers for nearly a century including Ray and Charles Eames in the 1940s and 1950s.

Namesake: An allée is a landscape design feature in which a walkway is lined with trees on both sides, forming a refined green tunnel or corridor. Originating in French garden design, allées celebrate symmetry and repetition, typically using a single tree species for uniformity.

All orders are shipped via UPS. Packages are insured and trackable. An email containing the tracking number will be sent to you when the order ships. Once your order has shipped, deliveries in the continental US by UPS Ground will take 2-5 days from our Oregon Studio.

This item is eligible for return for up to 45 days from delivery.

Custom items, clearance items, items that have been installed, or items not in their original factory condition are not eligible for return. Orders with quantities of ten or more items are non-returnable. 

Shipping fees are non-refundable and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please ensure returned items are packaged properly, as we are unable to accept returns on damaged items.

Once your return is delivered, it will be processed in 3-5 business days. Please allow an additional 2-3 days for any refunds to be processed by your card carrier.
